More Zimbabwean content being featured on DStv

More Zimbabwean content is being featured on the DStv platform with the launch in early October of a new reality series called Love Back.

MultiChoice Zimbabwe head of corporate affairs and public relations Charity Njanji said the series would showcase local talent and was a keynote collaboration between local broadcaster 3Ktv and MultiChoice.

The series will launch at 7pm on Thursday October 3 on 3Ktv, one of DStv’s Zimbabwean partner broadcasters.

“This is yet another exciting partnership between MultiChoice and locally-based channels and is a further means of extending the reach of local content available to Zimbabwean subscribers to the DStv platform,” said Njanji.

“In the series, stakes are high when former partners try everything to get a second chance at rekindling a former love, thus getting ‘love back’ as soon as possible.”

The show host is Zolile Makeleni, a multilingual TV presenter, actor, filmmaker, life coach and MC whose bubbly personality resonates well with Zimbabwean audiences. In addition to doing this show, this award-winning actor has also presented talk shows such as Dine with Tsotsi and Rock Bottom.

“Love Back promises to be a vibrant, elegant show aimed at the high end of the viewing market with a taste for a romantic atmosphere in a show that has a central theme of love,” said Njanji.

The series will feature 13 episodes of 24 minutes each.
