S’thanda idrama and prime time TV on Mzansi Magic keeps getting better!

Dive into the new heart-pounding drama of Icala

The thirteen-part series Icala, starring Lerato Mvelase (Isibaya) and the charismatic Bheki Sibiya (eHostela), premieres Monday, 9 October at 8pm on Mzansi Magic channel 161.

Imagine this: A man, reckless and self-centered, thinks his death end is near. So, he spills the beans, confessing to his loving, revenge-driven wife about the child he fathered with her BFF. Plot twist? He does not die. His wife, instead of ending their marriage, she decides to craft her own spine-chilling revenge on both the offenders.

Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net says, “Our Mzansi Magic Mondays are already bursting with local gems. But with Icala, expect an overload of emotions. A soul-stirring story, blended with some laughs, it's real, it's raw, and trust us, you don't want to miss this rollercoaster.

Written by Chris Q Radebe (Isifiso) and produced by Match Point, viewers will also see familiar faces like Sannah Mchunu (from Gomora), Kennedy Stab (Shaka iLembe), Velile Makhoba (Gomora) and meet new talent Athie Cwele.

Mark those calendars. Way’susa Uzoy’mela, Icala starts Monday 9 October, 8pm sharp, only on DStv channel 161.
